How We Started
A passionate problem-solver devoted to creating human-centric solutions, I embarked on an unexpected entrepreneurial journey in 2011. When faced with the daily challenge of packing healthy lunches for my school-aged young children while juggling the demands of a new baby, I envisioned a service that could help families like mine simplify their routines.
That vision soon evolved into My Hot Lunchbox; a bootstrapped brand I built from the ground up that quickly turned into a profitable business aimed at making parents’ lives easier. Today, as a larger team, we are committed to offering high-quality lunches to students and staff by building relationships with community partners through integrity and innovation.

Supporting Our Community Beyond Lunch
We are passionate about making a meaningful impact beyond just lunch. That’s why we give our partner schools the option to implement a fundraising kickback on every meal ordered through our platform. In fact, we helped raise over $350,000 in fundraising last year.
In addition, we donate a portion of our proceeds each year to No Kid Hungry, in an effort to put an end to childhood hunger in America. Join us in making a difference, both in and out of the lunchroom.
